10. Achieving a Work-Life balance

Achieving a Work-Life BalanceLife should be balanced so here is enough time for family, friends, work , studying and leisure.  When you are studying it is important to understand how to manage your time.  You always have to have some spare time as well, this helps avoid stress.  When studying you should always take few breaks, make sure that your family, activities or hobbies are not sacrificed.  The best thing to balance your life is to make sure that when you have your spare time you do not think about your studies or work.  What is more, it is really important to manage your time in the way that it is most suitable for you.  There are people who prefer working long hours and there are people who have to have a rest during their studies or work.

If you do not balance your life it could result into a stress.  Many employees start feeling stress when they do not have free time for their activities or their families.  Some employers assist employees to balance work life balance by offering flexible hours, working from home, childcare facilities, job sharing, study leave, career breaks.

Some organisations also try to improve employees work balance by offering  great facilities to relax at work.  Good example of this is Google.  Their idea to provide great facilities improves atmosphere at work, motivates employees, makes them to love their workplace.
